‘Find a job’ to replace Universal Jobmatch

The new Find a Job service is going to replace one of the UK’s largest recruitment websites, Universal Jobmatch. The recruitment service which is now operated by Adzuna, will continue to connect job seekers with thousands of employers across the UK.

The change of service came into effect on the 14th of May 2018, which means access to existing Universal Jobmatch accounts are now only available up until the 17th of June 2018. It is advised that you save any information from your Universal Jobmatch account that you wish to keep such as your CV, cover letters and application history. This information will not be transferred over to the new service so it’s important you save this information before it disappears.

Find a Job will allow its users to search for jobs without creating an account but setting up an account will allow you to apply for jobs, upload multiple CV’s, create email alerts, save jobs to apply later and keep a record of job searches which you will be able to screenshot/ print out to take with you to work coach meetings. The service will offer job seekers and employers a simpler and more streamlined way to log in and access their information and will continue to allow job seekers to search for work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

After a competitive procurement process, Adzuna will be providing the new. The site offers a faster, more efficient experience. A more powerful search using Adzuna’s technology will match job seekers to employers’ available roles more quickly and effectively.

Due to the change, JB Skills Training Ltd have paired up with job centres all over the North East to make the process a lot easier for job seekers. We offer a 5-day, Entry level 3 I.T course to give you the skills and knowledge needed to make the Find a Job service less daunting to use. Our 5-day course will help you understand the service and we will assist you with the retrieval of your information from Universal Jobmatch. You’ll also pick up a few I.T tricks and tips on the way. After the course, you won’t be alone. We offer an aftercare service for all our learners to have the chance to keep on track and stay up to date with their I.T skills.

There’s also an opportunity to progress to the next level with a course of a higher level which is currently in progress.
